Hi, I’m Val — the person behind Softgrainco ♡

I photograph weddings, pre-weddings, solemnisation, and all the in-between moments that make a day feel real. My style leans towards film-inspired tones with a touch of editorial, but I don’t like putting things in a box — I enjoy experimenting and letting each story unfold naturally.

I started photography during COVID out of pure curiosity (and maybe a bit of boredom), but it quickly became something I genuinely loved. After my own wedding in May 2025, I decided to turn this into something more  

I’m an introvert at heart, but I love meeting new people and being part of meaningful, joy-filled occasions. Weddings, especially, will always have a soft spot for me — there’s just something about everyone coming together that never gets old.

When I travel, my camera comes with me everywhere. It’s my way of seeing and remembering the world.
